Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu

Shangrila Mactan is always the place to be. Everything is wonderful. Staff are all nice we were greeted with welcome drinks. The room has a lot of amenities and the bed is amazingly firm as always. The pools and beach access are great. The breakfast buffet could be a warzone but it is a wide variety. Will always come back here.

Wonderful concierge service. They took scale to the room to measure the weights of the luggages. They have a lively restaurant at the beach. They have wonderful food and service there. Wonderful managers and staff there at this restaurant. They listened our special requests for the food for the kid and provided wonderful and delicious food. By rain, they put our table into the restaurant and send us to the ocean wing lobby by club car. The beach and the pool is wonderful for a child between 4-12 years old. They are very clean and well decorated. They even provide pool toys. The beach has white sand and shallow water. The kids can feed the big fishes at the shallow part of the sea by the provided fish food by the staff. They provide snorkels which will be nice after the shallow part of the sea. The gym was very nice. They provide cold free water everywhere.

Room service has a great variety of dishes and gets delivered in a varm cabinet, so the food is pretty much as it would have been if you were at the restaurant. There are multiple restaurants to choose from, the buffet restaurants have a wide range of dishes and the A La Carte restaurants offer great quality food. Around the pool and beach area, there are QR codes for ordering drinks and food, this makes it a lot easier and you can sign to the room in order to pay at checkout. The garden offers great walks where you see interesting plants and fruit trees.

I like their breakfast buffet and their service

The hotel is great. We had a lovely room - very big with excellent sea views. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic, there was pretty much anything you might like to eat. The beach was great. White sands, very clear seas and sun loungers always available. We enjoyed the choices of where to eat in the hotel and the quality of food was terrific. The gym was great with plenty of equipment and we were always able to get on the machines. I would recommend staying if you get the chance.
